Re: AFL Roosters Delisted

Fantastic news with Robbie Young returning to Prospect. We're starting to look very good for 2020.

Re: AFL Roosters Delisted

It would be great if we could get Robbie Young back - we really missed him this year. Not so sure about Aaron Young, although he played some good footy for us. Along with Moore, Hartung (excellent pickup), LeBois and Hewett (and maybe Wigg) we're starting to look very strong for 2020. Surjan's going...

Re: Jacob Surjan - New Coach

Congratulations to Jacob on his appointment. I reckon it's a good choice, he's been around the club for a while and there's continuity from Josh Carr's relatively short stint in the job. I think it's a positive move by the club, he played a big role in the 2018 success. I'm not really worried about ...

Re: Round 17 South Adelaide V North Adelaide - Sunday 18 August, 2:10pm at Flinders University Stadium (Noarlunga).

Another complete disaster in a season full of disasters. We will be thrashed next week, so we'll be collecting another spoon. What a way to defend a premiership. All I can say is the club better be on the ball in terms of recruiting next season, because this current squad has become an embarrassment...

Re: North Adelaide V Adelaide, Saturday 20 July, 2:10pm at Prospect Oval.

An outstanding win considering that the Crows were at full strength. It just shows what we can do. Where has this been all year? Okay, we've won a couple of other games, but they were against West and the Dogs, who are both having poor seasons. And how the hell did we lose to West last week? While I...

Re: North v West, Saturday 13 July, 2:10pm at City Mazda Stadium.

Just to correct my posting from yesterday (see above), we actually have the fourth most premierships in the SANFL (14), one behind Sturt. We have appeared in the third most grand finals (28), behind Port and Norwood. The biggest margin in a GF is 125 points (Dogs over Eagles in 2004), but we're stil...

Re: North v West, Saturday 13 July, 2:10pm at City Mazda Stadium.

In regards to my comment about 1989, I really don't think you can compare the game in the early 1900s to the modern era of the game. I still think our performance in 89 ranks as possibly the worst in SANFL history. Philby, in my comment I didn't say we were the worst team to support, just the most f...

Re: North v West, Saturday 13 July, 2:10pm at City Mazda Stadium.

It's official, we've got ourselves another wooden spoon. Well done, Roosters! I know there are worse clubs to support, but North Adelaide must surely be the most frustrating club in Australia to support. 1987: Magnificent premiership. 1988: We miss the finals. 1989: Brilliant all year, minor premier...

I can't believe it! Great win by the boys - finally we're on 0 points!
Hopefully we can gain a bit of confidence and grab a win next week against West Adelaide. It's the battle to avoid the spoon!

Re: Lack of feed back from the club.

This is alarming. A magnificent premiership and then, in less than a year, the club starts falling apart at the seams. Why are promising players and board members leaving half-way through a season? How come a premiership club is unable to attract an impressive bunch of recruits? And once again, as h...

Re: North v Sturt Rnd 10 Sunday

I really don't think we'll win another match this year and I've felt that way for more than a month. We'll finish the season on -2 points (no doubt the only club in the history of the SANFL to do that). This is fast becoming the worst and most embarrassing defence of a premiership in the history of ...

Re: North Adelaide V Adelaide Saturday June 1, 2:10pm at Prospect Oval

Disco makes a good point. Three of the players we lost in the AFL draft were not regulars throughout the season, and only really made a big impression in the finals. We only lost one veteran (Ryswyck), and he didn't even play in the GF. We lost one of our best defenders (Spina) for the GF, and he ha...

This is shaping up to be the worst defence of a premiership in the history of the SANFL.
Bloody hell, it's hard being a Roosters supporter. I know we lost five players in the draft, but how can we be this bad after last year's finals campaign? We are really terrible. Back to the cellar.

Re: This week's team versus South

This is fast becoming the most embarrassingly bad defence of a premiership in SANFL history. Last year we experienced a miracle but we're paying for it now. From the greatest glory back to the joke of the competition. As I said about a month ago, I really hope the powers that be are working towards ...
